Each winter, we celebrate the food and drink that give Dunedin its special flavour. Embrace the chilly evenings and support the city’s vibrant local food culture by dining in our restaurants and cafes. Dine Dunedin and taste and hear the stories of the city’s passionate food and drink heroes. Launched Friday, 21 June 2019.

Breakfast in Dunedin's Octagon on Opening Day Friday, 21 June 2019 to celebrate Dine Dunedin’s launch on the shortest day of the year. Breakfast created by Nova Cafe using the finest Harraways oats, all served alongside Allpress Coffee.
A look at the Outstanding NZ Winner Dinner at Emerson's Brewery. The delicious five-course menu by chef Andy Aitken showcased produce from 2019 award winners Whitestone Cheese, Provenance Lamb, The Wooden Spoon Boutique Freezery, A Lady Butcher, Genevieve's, L'Authentique and Chia Sisters. Dishes were matched with Emerson's craft beer and Ara Wines.
